Body Poetry is a unique dance experience that weaves together structured choreography with creative freedom. In each class, you will learn foundational movement patterns that are inspired by playlists of diverse music genres and styles. From there, you'll explore variations and improvisations on these patterns, building confidence and finding your own expression.At the heart of Body Poetry is creative expression guided by your own inner sensations —the pull of gravity, the rhythm of your breath, the impulse to reach or fold, the desire to be grounded or to soar. You'll learn to listen to what your body wants to say while letting the music inspire you. Whether you're a beginner or experienced dancer, Body Poetry invites you to let your authentic movement emerge through the inspiring music, community connection, and the poetry of your body and life.
