We welcome the Body Narratives exhibition to Wireless Hill Museum offering an in-depth exploration of body adornment curated by Maggie Baxter as part of the #IOTA24 International Festival.
The exhibition features garments, jewellery, and sculptural forms that express symbolism and narratives about the wearer. This anti-fashion exhibition celebrates the joy of handcraft and slow making.
This exhibition runs from Saturday, 31 August to Sunday 29 September 2024.
Admission is free.
Featuring work by Boróka Égerházi-Kis, Molly Ryan, Michele Sharpe, Sharon Wendo, Gapuwiyak Culture and Arts and Aly de Groot, KPMD Designs and Ideas. Curated by Maggie Baxter plus works from the collection of Mala Sujan
