Join us for a workshop afternoon where Brenda Russell will look to provide the dancers of Cambridge an insight into body movement and care, helping us all dance better and healthier. This workshop will be the highlights version of a longer course and will touch on the following:
The natural movements of the pelvis for better efficiency, force absorption, and fluid movement.
Learn the relationship between the sections of your legs for easier bending down and up.
Find out how you can improve your relationship with your knees by changing one of the most common misconceptions about the body.
Improve your balance by finding your true axis.
Reduce neck and shoulder tension by learning the 6 directions your shoulder blade moves
Reduce lower back pain
Improve posture
Improve connection
Improve quality of movement and musical expression.
