BODIED with Mea

Bodied is a class designed to honor the diversity of human bodies and make yoga accessible to all. This workshop invites yoga teachers and students to learn how to adapt and modify traditional yoga poses for bigger bodies, different body types, and unique needs.

Through guided practice, hands-on demonstrations, and supportive discussion, participants will explore:

• Creative prop usage for comfort and alignment
• Variations of common poses for fuller bodies, limited mobility, or different proportions
• Language and cueing that empower students rather than limit them
• Building inclusive, body-positive spaces that celebrate strength, flexibility, and resilience in all forms
