The Bodhi Tree, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists, is the oldest depicted tree in Indian art and literature and is described as the mythical 'Tree of Life'.
In 2008, artist Lee Mingwei planted a cutting from the original treeโs lineage on the terrace outside GOMA. Fast forward to today, and the tree is flourishing beautifully!
Come together with us for a special blessing ceremony to mark the Buddhaโs Birthday 2025. This celebration is open to all, and entry is free โ everyone is welcome!
