BoDeans are an acclaimed American roots rock band formed in Waukesha, Wisconsin in theearly 1980s. Built around the songwriting and distinctive voice of founding member KurtNeumann, the band has spent four decades crafting a signature blend of heartlandrock,Americana, and anthemic guitar-driven storytelling. They broke through with their 1986 debutLove & Hope & Sex & Dreams, produced by T Bone Burnett, and went on to achievemainstream success with hits including “Good Things,” “Idaho,” “Fadeaway”, “Only Love” andthe Top 20 single “Closer to Free,” which also served as the theme for the television seriesParty of Five.
