Financial obstacles:
We strive to make our events inclusive and accessible to Black children, regardless of financial circumstances. To help us accomplish our goal, we invite members of the community to "sponsor some fun." Through this initiative, individuals can financially contribute by paying for a child's entry to one of the BOC Kids events. This contributes to our goal of creating a welcoming and supporting community where every child can participate and thrive, regardless of financial constraints. For families who may face financial challenges, we encourage you send an email to [email protected] so that we can work to provide your child with access to our community events.
Who should come?
Black kids of all ages should come with a parent. All parents and guardians of Black kids are welcomed. In order to ensure that we can accommodate as many children as possible and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, we kindly request that families limit attendance to one parent per child. Additional adults, while we appreciate their support, will not be able to join the event. We believe this approach fosters a child-focused atmosphere where kids can fully engage in the activities planned for them. We understand the importance of family participation, and to make it easier for families, tickets are being sold for children's attendance, while parent accompaniment is free. This ensures that every child has the opportunity to participate while keeping the event accessible to families.
