The Fond du Lac Coast Guard Auxiliary is offering an in-person Boating Safety Course for everyone 12 and older. Here is your chance to learn more about your boat, its safe operation, the legal requirements, emergency preparedness, and enjoying water sports.Classes will be held:
Where: Fond du Lac Yacht Club
When: April 21, 23, 28, and 30 Time:
6pm to 9pm
Cost: $10
Everyone registered for the course is required to attend all four nights of instruction and complete the final exam with an 80% score or better.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Wisconsin DR Boating Safety certificate.
To reserve your spot:
• Go to the DR website at https://gowild.wi.gov
• Select the Browse Classes tab at the bottom of the home page.
• Select Course Type = BOAT;
• Select County = Fond du Lac.
• Then click the Enroll tab for the Fond du Lac Yacht Club class.
You must pick up course materials, complete the registration and make payment on Thursday, April 16th between 6pm to 8pm at the Fond du Lac Yacht Club located at 705 Mohawk Avenue. The cost is $10 per person to cover the materials.
