This event venue has no bar, so please feel free to bring along your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks (glasses/bottle opener/corkscrew available).

Adverse Weather Conditions or Mechanical Boat Issues. Unfortunately the weather is outwith our control. If the Skipper feels it would be unwise to sail due to adverse weather conditions (e.g. gusts of over 40mph, or the boat being unable to move due to ice) or other safety concerns the event will run as a static event on the boat (not a cruise). No refunds will be given in this instance.
Photo permission. Photos may be taken at the event. If you do not wish to appear in any of them, please tell the photographer at the time the photos are taken.

By giving us your details, you are consenting to us using them to contact you regarding your booking and we may contact you occasionally to let you know about our organisation and activities. Please email us ([email protected]) if you do not agree to this. We will not pass your details on to any other person or organisation.
Alcohol and Drug Policy.
If the event is BYOB (check event description), we are happy for you to provide alcoholic refreshments for your group within reason, but, as you will understand, it is the priority of the Skipper to ensure the safety of passengers and crew, therefore, if at any time during your trip the Skipper asks that passengers desist from drinking he must be obeyed. If the Skipper feels it warranted he may curtail the cruise or disembark your group, when it is safe to do so. No refunds will be given to you.
We have a zero tolerance drug policy. Should you or one of your guests bring or take drugs on our boat, your trip will be immediately curtailed and no refund will be given.

Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust (FCCT) aims to make our local area a better place to live, work, do business and visit!
We love to work in partnership with others to create unique experiences and events at canalside venues and on board our canal boat, the Lochrin Belle. We believe this brings vibrancy to the canal and helps build a dynamic community.
Our current activities include: running boats on the canal for community use and as a social enterprise, a large volunteering programme, a Canalside Health Walk, part of the Paths for All network, a weekly Canalside greenspace group and the organisation of community events and the Edinburgh Canal Festival. Generally we are interested in any opportunities that strengthen our community economically, environmentally or culturally, and promote social inclusion, sustainability and well-being. Visit www.fcct.scot to find out more about us, take a look at upcoming events in the area and find out more about our projects. We are also on most social channels @fcctEdinburgh
