Kick off the Sunshine Festival weekend with a fun-filled evening of competition, laughter, and community spirit! Immediately following Friday afternoon's Opening Ceremonies on the Civic Center Plaza, we’re introducing two activities to continue the festival spirit:
Speed Cornhole (inside the Civic Center)
Think you’ve got cornhole skills? Put them to the test in this fast-paced, high-energy challenge! With just one board and lots of bags, the goal is simple—land as many bags as possible on the board within the time limit. No teams—just you, the board, and a race against the clock. All ages are welcome.
Nick Dostie, City of Sequim Public Works Director, will emcee the event!
Trivia Night (in Council Chambers inside the Civic Center)
Think you know Sequim? Love a good challenge? Gather your friends or play solo in this 40-question trivia showdown covering topics like Sequim history, sunshine, and more! Led by Trivia Master Dale Dunning of Sequim’s Full Contact Trivia, this event promises brain-teasing fun for locals and visitors alike.
Immediately after, walk down Sequim Avenue to the Sequim High School Auditorium for a live concert by Navy Band Northwest at 7 PM.
