Whether you're new to board games or a seasoned player, we've got something for you! Join Shelf Life Games for our second board game pop-up at Couch Dog Brewing Co. in Salem, MA. No registration or ticket required (but we do kindly request you patronize our host, Couch Dog).

- Choose from dozens of games, from hilarious social games to thinky strategy games
- Enjoy a family friendly vibe, with games for ages 3 - 100
- Be yourself, introvert or extrovert, with games for 1 - 8 players
- Learn a new game in minutes! We'll teach select games throughout the pop-up.
- Bring your buddies, join a group, or fly solo. All are welcome!
🤓 Games we'll be teaching
We'll teach/demo the following games throughout the pop-up, but rest assured we'll have many, many more for you to try and enjoy!
- Dixit - Great to play with school-age kids
- boop. - It's like cats meets cheese, but easier and cuter
- Monikers - Word guessing game, with charades, great for groups
- So Clover - Word association game, great for groups
- Bananagrams - Word creation game, similar to Scrabble, great for groups
- Kites - Fun and frantic race-against-the-clock game
- Scout - Kind of like of poker and Rummikub, but with a circus theme and less rules
- Spots - Roll some dice, put spots on cute dogs, a fun push-your-luck game
- Skull - Super quick bluffing game
- That's Not a Hat - Like Memory, but with movement and bluffing, hilarious with a group
- Kariba - Cute card game with animals around a watering hole
- Exploding Kittens - The popular party game with just that, exploding kittens!
- A Gentle Rain - Relaxing solo (or group) game where you build a lake with lily pads
- Sprawlopolis - Build a city with just 18 cards
How to get here
🚆 Public transportation
Take the MBTA Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail line to Salem. It's about 25-30 minute ride, and you can use the $10 weekend pass, good for holiday weekends such as this one. Here's the train schedule for 2/23/25.
