What to Expect: Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the world of board games, this event offers something for everyone. Discover new games, challenge your friends, and make new connections with fellow board game lovers along the way. Come as a group or solo and we can help pair you with a community table. Our events are a great way to connect with members of local communities and are perfect for folks arriving in Toronto looking to make new friends.
Board Games: From classic favourites to modern hits, we will have a wide selection of games to choose from on rotation that may include Coup, Codenames, Splendor, Catan, Love Letter, and many more! You are also welcome to bring games from your own collection if you wish. Join the Changeling Discord to connect and plan your games ahead!
General Admission Tickets and Private Tables: Tickets and tables for this event include access to the Left Field Brewery beer hall, a curated collection of board games, and on-site game experts who can help you with player introductions, game selection, and running how-to-plays for your table.
Tickets are priced and sold per person. Pre-purchased seats will be held for ticket holders for the first 30 minutes of the event before they are sold to folks who are on the waitlist or walk-ups.
Waitlist & Walk-Ups: Since the venue has limited seating, an RSVP on Instagram, Facebook or Discord does not guarantee a seat, but to help with this, we organize tickets in advance here on Eventbrite to help folks lock in a spot. If the pre-booked tickets sell out on Eventbrite, we recommend joining the waitlist to be notified if a spot becomes available in advance. We will also start selling rush tickets for any seats that are open after 30 minutes into the event, first by those on the waitlist, then on a first-come basis. On site, we can accept both cash and card for payment at the door. If planning to do rush, pay-at-the-door tickets, you can wait at the Left Field Brewery bar. They generally have open seats and limited standing room for drinks and to social with other guests while you wait.
Membership & Passes: Changeling Gaming Memberships include event discounts for our paid subscribers. After just two events within a 30-day period, our members save, with the potential of over $80 per month! For this event, each Special Event Membership ticket purchased must have a single individual corresponding Patreon General Events Membership Subscription. Or, a temporary Membership Pass may be presented with Special Event stamp slots available for each ticket purchased.
Proof of membership will be required at the door.

1) Exclusive member perk! Join us at the Board Games Arboretum for a pre-game night social from 6 - 7:15 PM. This is a great chance to make connections over lighter games with the intention of making new friends and meeting fellow members of the community.
2) Free optional add-on that is included in all tickets. Want to settle into a bigger game?! Stay late until 11:30 PM to finish and social with fellow gamers. Please help us return the space to Left Field Brewery by clearing your tables and packing up before you depart. And please don't forget to close your tabs! Thank you.
: Left Field Brewery is a small, community-focused family business with a mission to create joy through beer. They also happen to love baseball! A theme that is interwoven through all facets of their brewery experience. They are also committed to diversity, accessibility, and inclusion.
Their Liberty Village location has a substantial list of beers and drinks available, plus an incredible lineup of food options to order from while playing a game. There is no minimum spend, but we strongly encourage purchasing something as able to support the venue so we can keep returning for more gaming experiences. The recommended minimum is $25 per person (~ one drink and one food item) from the Left Field Liberty Village menu.
What's the Space Like?: Changeling aims to craft the best gaming experience when at our partnering venues while respecting their space, regular services, and capabilities. While we can’t always make adjustments to our shared space, we can still provide information to help you make an informed decision about attending. Here’s what to expect on an average visit,
