About this Event
The Radiation Safety Institute of Canada (RSIC), in partnership with Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS), is pleased to present the 2026 Radiation Safety Partner Breakfast, focused on the safe use of X-ray technologies in Ontario's industrial and veterinary sectors.
Across manufacturing facilities, industrial inspection operations, and veterinary practices, X-ray technologies play a critical role in supporting quality assurance, operational excellence, diagnostics, and animal care. As the use of these technologies continues to expand, organizations face increasing responsibilities to protect workers, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster strong health and safety cultures.
This year's event will bring together leaders in occupational health and safety, radiation protection, industry, and government to explore practical approaches for managing radiation risks in workplace settings. Participants will gain valuable insights into current regulatory expectations, emerging technologies, exposure control strategies, and best practices for integrating X-ray safety into broader workplace health and safety programs.
Through presentations and discussion, attendees will learn how industrial and veterinary organizations can strengthen worker protection, improve operational safety, and build confidence in the responsible use of X-ray technologies.
