The Butte Music Experience (BMX) was launched late 2024, and this showcase is the end of season show for the Winter Season which started in January. All students of BMX will be performing, including the Saturday Kids (Sea Serpents), the Monday Kids (The Seekers), a small hand-selected group of kids who are the "show band" and play extra gigs around town (BMXtra Terrestrials), and our Sunday Adult group (SedimenTerry). Over 30 students will hit the stage and for most of them this is one of their very first times playing live! Come support the community of burgeoning musicians in Butte, America.
The Butte Music Experience (BMX) is a performance-based music education program thoughtfully designed for students to discover the joy of playing and performing music in a group band setting. The program consists of organized weekly rehearsals where students will learn music by having songs assigned and playing them with other students. Each season culminates with live concerts where all students will play for friends, family, and music lovers. BMX is a music program for all skill levels, ages, and musical aspirations, and has specific programs for kids and adults.
