BMRACS2 x Leave No Trace – Community Beach Clean
About this Event
BMRACS2 x Leave No Trace – Community Beach Clean
Join Us for a Community Beach Clean! 🌊♻️
The project team behind the Brighton Marina to River Adur Coastal Defence Scheme – Phase 2 (BMRACS2) and the fantastic team at Leave No Trace Brighton are teaming up for a beach clean on 28 July, and we'd love for you to join us.
We'll be meeting on the beach opposite the King Alfred Leisure Centre, Kingsway, Hove, at 7:45am, before heading east along the coastline to collect litter and help keep our beautiful beaches clean. The event will finish at approximately 9:00am.
Look out for the Leave No Trace Brighton bright yellow teardrop flags and marquee – they'll make us easy to spot.
Litter pickers and hessian bags will be provided, so all you need to bring is yourself and suitable clothing for the weather.
This is a great opportunity to do something positive for our local coastline, meet members of the BMRACS2 and Leave No Trace Brighton teams, and find out more about the work taking place along the coast. There will also be an informal opportunity to chat with a members of the project team and ask any questions you may have about the sea defence scheme.
Whether you're a regular beach cleaner or joining one for the first time, we'd love to see you there!
