Blunderbuss of Freedom

"Blunderbuss of Freedom" is a short dramatization inspired by the events of the night of February 27th, 1844, when a group of patriots commanded by General Matías Ramon Mella gathered at La Puerta de la misericordia and proclaimed the Dominican Republic's Independence.

This dramatization is a tribute to the heroes who fought to set free the nation. It is also the first play put on stage by the community theater group of the 7 Arts Latino Foundation, directed by Jorge David Martínez.
