Blume & Hall Fashion Academy Announces Grand Opening in Little Rock’s River Market District

LITTLE ROCK, AR – March 21, 2026 – Blume & Hall Fashion Academy, formerly known as the Arkansas Fashion School, is excited to announce its grand opening on April 18, 2026, at 3 p.m. The new academy will be located in the vibrant River Market District at 319 President Clinton Ave., Suite 201.

Founded in 2007 by the late Jamileh Kamran, a beloved Arkansas fashion designer and educator, the academy aims to honor her legacy while providing a modern education in fashion design. The school will now be led by Ashton Hall, a renowned fashion designer, and Lara Blume McGee, a model and entrepreneur, alongside Amanda Morley, an esteemed designer and former student of Kamran.

“We are dedicated to preserving Mrs. Kamran’s legacy,” said McGee. “Our school will reflect her vision and commitment to excellence in fashion education.”

Program Highlights

Comprehensive Curriculum: The academy offers a two-year, 15-course program covering essential skills such as flat pattern making, body draping, and garment crafting for casual, business, and formal occasions.

Flexible Class Schedule: Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Saturdays to accommodate students’ varying schedules.

Additional Courses: In response to industry demands, McGee & Hall  plans to introduce a variety of workshops, modeling, etiquette, and acting classes, as well as social media and business marketing courses.

Networking Opportunities: Students will connect with markets and factories to promote their designs and brands effectively.

Enrollment is currently open, with flexible tuition payment plans available. The academy also offers free tours for prospective students and the public. “I love downtown Little Rock and want to contribute to its growth,” McGee stated. “We invite tourists and locals alike to explore our academy & discover the art of fashion design.”
