Come join us for a night of Blues dancing at lovely Café Gaya!We start with a free short introduction to the dance so that everyone can join in, after which the floor is opened for social dancing.
The program:
at 18-19: Possibility of dinner together (remember to book a table in advance)
At 19.00-19.30: Free introduction to the Blues
at 19.30-21:00: Social dance
Blues dancing is a collection of dances and movements of African-American origin with varied rhythms, speed, and expression, and can be danced both partnered, solo, and in groups. Blues dance is characterized by improvisation, rhythm, community feeling, emotion, and creativity.
Whether you are into social dancing, solo blues or a mixture of these, come and get your dancing shoes on and join us for a fantastic evening of dancing, music and great company!
