Fire-forged in the legendary Chicago blues circuit, roots rocker and bluesman RJ Howson honed his masterful guitar chops on stages like Buddy Guy’s Legends, Rosa's Lounge, Kingston Mines, and BLUES on Halstead. From late-night jams with icons to high-energy performances across the Midwest, RJ built his reputation the old-school way—by lighting up every room he steps into.

Now based under the Florida sun, RJ has been tearing up stages all across the Southeast. His résumé reads like a festival lineup: Thunder By the Bay, Giving Hunger the Blues, St. Pete Music Festival, Bonita Blues Festival, and tributes to Gregg Allman and the Allman Brothers Band. He’s shared bills with giants like Butch Trucks, Dickey Betts, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Molly Hatchet, and many more.
