About this Event
The Blueprint for Arterials is a valuable new resource for state, regional, and local agencies in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The Blueprint equips agencies with an integrated planning and design framework for developing projects at the conceptual stage. The Blueprint achieves a new level in partnership and cooperation between area agencies towards a shared regional vision of safety for vulnerable road users, flexible design but consistent process, multimodal & place-based, community engagement, and intergovernmental collaboration.

Our Speaker:
Shaun Tooley, AICP is a Transportation Planning Specialist at MoDOT – St. Louis District. He facilitates decision-making on long-term capital investments including coordinating with regional long-range transportation plan; conducts project-level planning, environmental, and corridor studies; leads special planning initiatives; facilitates multimodal incorporation; and supports agency investment to benefit public safety, health, and quality of life in communities. Shaun is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning and certified with the American Institute of Certified Planners.
