Bluemoose Books: Sports and Social

Join local publisher Kevin Duffy of Bluemoose Books, and their author Kevin Boniface, as part of The Book Corner's and The Grayston Unity's TOWN Festival.

Kevin Boniface will talking to the other Kevin, from Bluemoose Books, about his recent short story collection Sports and Social - and why Civil War re-enactments, clay pigeon shooting and fantastical pop careers can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

There will be a talk, an audience Q&A and a signing.

Kevin Boniface is the Bard of Kirklees, writer, artist and postman. His book Sports and Social was published by Bluemoose.

Prior to working in the publishing industry for 35 years, Kevin Duffy worked in a jigsaw factory, Burger King and as a washer upper in a hotel. In 2006 with his wife Hetha, they started Bluemoose Books which according to The Guardian ' Is a small but mighty literary hit factory.'
