Bluegrass Night with TrueGrittz

Blending music that is true to the genre but still exciting, foot stompin’, and gritty, we introduce you to TrueGrittz! Composed of members seasoned in different aspects of bluegrass and the music industry as a whole, they are sure to entertain audiences beyond expectations.

Lead guitarist, and band leader, Trey Grauer has returned to Trinity, FL. Growing up in San Antonio, FL, bluegrass formed his foundation and he cut his teeth with The Beaumont Family for many years. After high school, he played professionally in rock and country bands, in addition to being a solo artist.

Joining on banjo and harmony vocals is Zack Frohn of Punta Gorda. A long time fan of the genre, he formed a band in 2013 with fellow cadets at the Coast Guard Academy known as the Mamacoke Ramblers, playing at special events for 3 years. While on active duty in Virginia, he gained band experience with the group Fentress Station, a long running staple of the Tidewater bluegrass scene.

On fiddle and harmony vocals, the band has another bluegrass “re-tread” with Scott Hunt of Riverview, FL. Scott has made a name for himself in country tribute and americana bands throughout the state, and joined up to reconnect with the genre that led him to music in the first place.

Rounding out the band on bass and mandolin (and harmony vocals), are twin brothers Brett and Bryce Griffin of Nahunta, GA. These brothers have been picking and singing since they could practically walk and both have professional experience in recording and on stage. Bryce played with the rising Florida bluegrass band Remedy Tree for over a year.
