Bluebirds & Habitat Restoration at the Mary E. Fitz Memorial Park

Join us for a guided walk on the prairie and woodland trails at this public preserve while learning about habitat restoration and efforts to support eastern bluebirds. Hear from an avian field technician about bluebird ecology and a dedicated volunteer monitoring nest boxes, and get a close-up look at nests (and possibly baby birds!). Observe bluebirds in action (binoculars provided) and discover how local data contributes to research with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
