It’s not too early to start thinking about installing nest boxes for Eastern Bluebirds and other cavity nesting birds! Wild Birds Unlimited of Woodhaven Owners, Phil and Therese, will be talking about the history of Bluebirds in North America, their decline and comeback, what to look for in a nest box, the importance of good habitat, and how to monitor nest boxes. Other cavity nesting birds, like Chickadees and Tree Swallows will be talked about and how to identify different eggs.
Therese is the Wayne and Monroe County Coordinator for the Michigan Bluebird Society and will provide information about the MBS organization.
