Hosted by Arboretum Curator Matthew Amato, Bluebird of Happiness Day is a fun and educational event designed for families, teachers, nature enthusiasts and anyone who’s ever paused to admire a flash of blue among the trees.
🌿 What to Expect:
• Guided Nature Walk: Follow the trail of our bluebird houses and explore the nesting sites that have made the arboretum a thriving home for these cheerful little birds.
• Educational Talks: Learn from guest speakers about the eastern bluebird’s habitat, nesting behavior, and the vital role they play in our local ecosystem.
• Kids’ Crafts: Children can enjoy bird-themed coloring and painting activities to spark their creativity and connection to nature.
👕 Dress the Part!
