Donald Campbell’s restored Bluebird K7 will be at Samlesbury Hall on Monday 7th October 2024 between 10am and 12pm.
Come and see a slice of history that was built 70 years ago at Samlesbury Engineering! The Bluebird is a jet engine hydroplane in which Britain’s Donald Campbell set 7 world water speed records.
The Bluebird, will be on display for 2 hours between 10-12pm in front of our main Hall.
You can make a day of it and visit our Garden Room Eatery which will be open and serving delicious food from 8.30am-4pm (breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee, tea, cake) and Dottie’s Wafflery will be open 10-4pm for freshly made waffles, ice cream, coffee, teas and cake.
