Early May is usually peak bluebell season, and the wooded slopes around Jubilee Drive are one of the best places locally to see them. People and photographers from far away come see them here.
*Bluebells are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act—no picking
Please stick to paths (they’re easily damaged).*
We will start the walk at Wyche Cutting walk on the lower part of the hills, with the hills to our left and great views of the valley to our right, eventually passing the area near Jubilee Drive and the spectacular amount of Bluebells.
Shortly after this we will reach our turn around point but this time we will head back along the tops hopefully enjoying a beautiful sunset/Moonrise.
Don't forget your head torches, it will be dark as we finish the walk.
Bring layers and snacks/water to sustain you.
