Blue Zone Project Allentown and Jay's Local Approved Restaurant Celebration

We are excited to celebrate Jay's Local becoming the FIRST Blue Zone's Approved Restaurant in Allentown. The celebration will be held on October 3rd at 11:00a.m. After the ribbon cutting and certificate presentation, guests will be treated to Blue Zones inspired samples created by Jay's.

This milestone highlights Jay’s Local’s commitment to improving community well-being through healthy food, connection, and purpose.

Founded in memory of Jay Scherline, Jay’s Local was built on his values of community support, innovation, and making the Lehigh Valley a better place. The Scherline family collaborated with Muhlenberg College’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department to design a neighborhood gathering space where students, residents, and families could meet, study, and enjoy high-quality local fare at affordable prices.
