Blue Notes & Bright Nights is a refined three-part jazz concert series bringing world-class musicians to the heart of Holly Springs. Hosted by Arts Holly Springs and produced by Christian Tamburr as part of the Icons of Jazz Concert Series, this curated lineup celebrates timeless standards, soulful storytelling, and the artistry that continues to shape jazz today. Each evening will be held at Ashe Music Hall, offering an intimate concert experience right here in our community.
The Ladies of Swing is an intimate, soulful duo concert honoring three of the most influential voices in jazz history: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Sarah Vaughan.
Featuring pianist Noel Freidline and the expressive vocals of Maria Howell, this performance brings new life to the timeless repertoire that defined the Golden Era of Swing. From Ella’s joyful virtuosity to Billie’s haunting emotional depth to Sarah’s lush harmonic mastery, the concert traces the distinct artistry that forever shaped jazz vocals.
