The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Missing and Murdered First Nations Peoples Unit are hosting Blue Jean Jacket Day on Friday, June 5, 2026, in honour of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Men and Boys.
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The walk will begin at the Manitoba Legislative Building and continue to Oodena Celebration Circle at The Forks, where we will hold an opening ceremony, hear opening remarks from leadership, and listen to stories shared by affected family members.
Please stand in solidarity with us on this meaningful day as we honour our loved ones and bring awareness to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Men and Boys.
