Join us at a fundraiser for honoring Mayor Mike Spano and Mary Calvi, First Lady of Yonkers. Enter Greystone Court, a privately owned castle, where you will be entertained by live music and endulge in a scrumptious Venetian dessert table. Tickets are limited for this exclusive event.
All proceeds will benefit Blue Door Art Center, a 501(c)(3 )organization. For over two decades it has supported the Arts in our community through exhibitions of local artists, art workshops for all ages, writing workshops, jazz and more. About Our Honorees
Mayor Mike Spano
Mayor Mike Spano is the 42nd Mayor of the City of Yonkers and has dedicated his life to standing up for Yonkers families. Taking office in 2012, he is the longest-serving mayor of the City of Yonkers. Mayor Spano recognizes the importance of the arts to the growth and development of Yonkers and has supported our art orgaization. Read more
Mary Calvi, First Lady of Yonkers
Mary Calvi, a native of Yonkers, is a14-time New York Emmy Award-winning journalist and anchor for Inside Edition and WCBS-TV in New York, who is also the author of two novels, Dear George, Dear Mary and If a Poem Could Live and Breathe. Her contributions to the community of Yonkers are beyond measure.

Entertainment: From Latin to Broadway
Isabella Lamadriz, Soprano and Pablo Zinger, Latin Music Maestro on piano, will entertain you with a performance of Latin songs, along with George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and more.
Cuban American singer, Isabella Lamadriz is a classically trained soprano who has appeared in operatic and concert venues across the US and Europe. She founded the Cuban Art Song Project through her collaboration with Latin music maestro, Pablo Zinger. After receiving her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Voice Performance from the Boston Conservatory, Isabella moved to New York City and embarked on a career as a dramatic coloratura soprano, singing some of the most vocally demanding roles, such as Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute and Konstanze in Abduction from the Seraglio. As a concert soloist, she has performed in venues as varied as the 92nd Street Y in New York and the Cranbrook Art Museum in Detroit. She also plays upright and electric bass in rock bands and with a Latin Big Band in New York City.
Pablo Zinger is widely acclaimed as a conductor, pianist, composer, arranger, writer, teacher, lecturer and narrator, specializing on Piazzolla, tango, zarzuela, and Latin American music. He has accompanied Plácido Domingo, and recorded with Paquito D’Rivera and Astor Piazzolla.He has toured with the Valencia-based Zinger Septet, written for The NY Times, Opera News, and lectured for The NY Philharmonic.He wrote the tango musical Bela, and the NY Times acclaimed Las tentaciones de González.His show Bésame mucho won the HOLA and ACE prizes.He has conducted for Paquito D’Rivera, Tito Puente, Dave Valentin, & Néstor Torres, and led the Costa Rica National Symphony, Simón Bolívar Orchestra, Maribor Philharmonic, Montevideo Philharmonic, Montevideo Pro Opera, San Antonio Opera, Milwaukee's Florentine Opera, New Mexico Symphony and Bronx Arts Ensemble Orchestra.
