All April long, our community has been stepping up to collect hygiene items for children and families in Bay, Arenac, Saginaw, and Huron counties. Now it's time to put it all together — and we need YOUR help!Join us for Kit Build Day on Wednesday, May 14th at CAN Council's Bay City office (1606 S. Euclid Ave), where volunteers will assemble donated items into hygiene kits ready to go directly to families in need. It's hands-on, it's fun, and the impact is real.
Two shifts are available:
Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Each shift is limited to 30 volunteers — spots will fill up fast, so register soon!

Please note: All volunteers are required to complete a background check due to the nature of CAN Council's work with children and families. Details will be provided upon registration.
Haven't donated yet? There's still time! Drop off hygiene items at 1311 N. Michigan Ave. through the end of April. Items needed include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and more.
