Player led sealed league at Dragon's Hoard!What is this?
This is a server for folks who enjoy limited MTG gameplay. The purpose is to build a small community of people to play Sealed games with, in a club style. We follow a quasi-league format, but casual. The goal is to have fun, not win a leaderboard.
Structure
We begin each set with a prerelease kit (or six packs), and from that each person makes a 40-card deck. Every week, you can open one more pack and add it to your card pool, and in between we meet up for matches, as many as you like. Your deck will be able to evolve over time, or even change completely once you've opened enough packs. This structure has these benefits:
-- You get to open packs, which is fun
-- You get to use cards you wouldn't normally use in a constructed format
-- You have a smaller card pool to "study" to be good
-- It's (therefore) more beginner-friendly
-- You don't have to break the bank
-- It's more 'fair.' Everyone gets what they get, and luck with packs evens out the more we open
