ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The BLOOM Howard Conference convenes leaders from higher education, healthcare, business, nonprofit organizations, government, media, and the private sector to explore innovative solutions that strengthen communities through collaboration, leadership, entrepreneurship, health equity, public policy, and economic development.
Hosted in partnership with Howard University School of Social Work - Multidisciplinary Gerontology Center, Our BLOOM Nation, the Advancing Black Businesses Foundation, RISE IPL, Sounds of My People, and Lead By Example Foundation, BLOOM is a platform where scholarship, innovation, community leadership, and public policy intersect to create measurable impact.
BLOOM is a collaborative initiative dedicated to cultivating healthier communities by connecting leaders across public health, education, business, government, nonprofit organizations, academia, and the arts. Through meaningful dialogue, mentorship, research, and strategic partnerships, BLOOM creates opportunities to address pressing social, economic, and health challenges while empowering individuals and organizations to thrive.
