Get ready for a one-of-a-kind immersive experience at the Garden where you’ll be led through the lush gardens to a series of secret, intimate indoor and outdoor performance locations. This captivating interactive circus show features aerial silks, hoop, sling, and more by Toronto's top aerial artists from Artists' Play performing incredible acts of strength and beauty with humour, grace, and a little bit of magic. ABOUT THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Elizabeth Dawn Snell
A professional dancer, aerialist, choreographer, and instructor in Toronto, Elizabeth is the Artistic Director and founder of Artists’ Play School of Dance. Elizabeth has been featured as an aerialist with Hit & Run Dance Productions, Disney, La Rouge Entertainment, and Zero Gravity Circus.
Elizabeth was trained classically at the Brandon School of Dance, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and was mentored by Arnold Spohr. After training in Jazz, Modern, and Contemporary at JazzArt, Grant MacEwan, and the Banff Center of Fine Arts, she graduated from the George Brown Dance Diploma Program where she studied under Ballet Jorgen. She has been training with aerial mentors in and around Toronto. Elizabeth continues to educate herself as an instructor and performer through various professional development programs.
Elizabeth founded Artists’ Play Dance and Circus Arts offering dance and circus classes in Leslieville and Riverdale. Dancers can enjoy recreational or competitive classes in beautiful professional studios, from the budding little dancer in mighty moves or creative movement to the aspiring performance artist in ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap, acro, circus, and aerial silks. Artists’ Play School of Dance instills the love of dance and aerial arts with fun and safe training.
