About this Event

About the Event

Do you enjoy social deduction games like Werewolf or Mafia? Have you watched The Traitors and thought you’d be good at spotting the liar in the group? Then you’ll love Blood on the Clocktower, a fast-moving game of mystery, deception and deduction.

In the quiet village of Ravenswood Bluff, a Demon walks among you. Each player takes on a unique role, perhaps a Townsfolk with valuable information to share, or a Minion working secretly for evil. By day, you’ll discuss, accuse and vote to execute those you suspect of being demons. By night, the Storyteller leads players through their hidden abilities. The good must uncover the Demon before the town is lost.

Both newcomers and experienced players are welcome. The Storyteller will explain the rules and guide everyone through the first game. Even if your character dies, you’ll stay in the action as a ghost, still influencing the outcome right to the end.

Important Information

There is a £3 entry fee payable to the Evesham Barons Tabletop Gaming Society to cover the venue cost. Payment can be made on arrival by card or cash (preferred).

Format

We aim to start promptly at 12:30 PM, so please arrive by 12:00 to settle in.
If you’re running late, you can still join the story as a Traveller, so you won’t miss out.
Games usually last between 30 and 90 minutes depending on numbers, and we’ll aim for at least two full games during the session.
Script complexity will match player experience. We use all three base scripts (Trouble Brewing, Bad Moon Rising and Sects & Violets) along with custom community scripts for added variety.

This session takes place at Wallace House Community Centre in Evesham.
The event is on the ground floor and fully wheelchair accessible.

Please note that we share the space with others running tabletop games. We have our own corner set aside, so we ask everyone to be considerate with noise levels.

What to Expect

Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game for 7 to 20 players. The good team must work together to identify and execute the Demon before it’s too late. The evil team must lie, deceive and manipulate to protect their master.

No two games are ever the same. It’s a social, logical and often hilarious experience that mixes mystery, performance and puzzle solving.

If you’re new, you can watch this quick intro video before coming along:
