Join Diversions for a thrilling game of Blood on the Clocktower every Sunday (and some Thursdays)! This cryptic social deduction game may remind players of similar games such as Mafia, Werewolf, or Traitors - but its unique roles and twists make it a crowd favorite!
Each month will feature a mix of Learn to Play, Starter, Level Up, and Advanced Sessions, with an occasional Special Feature session thrown in. Tickets and sessions details can be found on the BotC hub on our website (https://diversionsic.com/botc), but a quick overview is below:
-- Learn to Play Sessions are built for folks who have never heard for BotC before, but are curious about the game -- a rules explanation, some strategy discussion, and plenty of helpful advice are provided to help new players get familiar with the game!
-- Starter Sessions are planned as introductory events, focusing on the foundational script (Trouble Brewing), and are FREE to attend!
-- Level Up Sessions aim to give players a taste of the complexities of the game beyond the foundational script, such as new roles or a slightly modified script.
-- Advanced Sessions are open to any scripts the Storytellers Guild deem worthy – the possibilities are endless! Players will be expected to have a strong understanding of the game, characters, and rules and be ready for a challenge.
-- Though infrequent, Special Feature Sessions will provide a range of opportunities for gameplay -- from testing custom scripts, debuting new game features, and more.

About Blood on the Clocktower (from BoardGameGeek.com):
Blood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game with players on opposing teams of Good and Evil, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk.
During a 'day' phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies, culminating in a player's execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. During a 'night' time, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information, spread mischief, or K*ll.
The Storyteller uses the game's intricate playing pieces to guide each game, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave. If you arrive late to a game, you can enter after it's started as a powerful Traveller character with unusual talents and questionable allegiances. Each character comes with their own special ability and no two players in a game are ever the same character.
