To help in the fight against the blood shortage, VA Bedford Healthcare System is hosting a series of blood drives beginning on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. This is part of a nationwide effort by VA medical centers to respond to the ongoing national need for blood due to the coronavirus public health emergency. Blood drives will be: - March 18, 2025

- August 12, 2025
- October 7, 2025
- December 12, 2025
Veterans and members of the public wishing to donate blood need to schedule an appointment online USING THE TICKETS LINK, visit redcrossblood.org and enter VABEDFORD, or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
Use parking lot 2, enter the facility through building 2, and follow the signs to building 80, room 121. Please be sure to bring your driver's license or Red Cross Donor card and present it when you check it with our amazing volunteers.
