Mountain Ridge is partnering with Vitalant to host a Summer Blood Drive on Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM. Every donation has the potential to save lives and provide hope to patients in need—including organ transplant recipients who often require multiple blood transfusions during life-saving procedures.
In 2025 alone, more than 49,000 organ transplants were performed in the United States, marking a record fifth consecutive year. Many of these surgeries depend on the generosity of blood donors, and in some extreme cases, a single transplant patient may need the support of up to 50 donors.
Our goal is to fill 21 appointments and collect 16 units of lifesaving blood. Whether you are a first-time donor or give regularly, your donation can make a lasting impact.
