I donated blood on June 12 at our church. I knew about the Red Cross, but Versiti Blood Centers was new to me. Where the Red Cross usually donates blood during disasters, Versiti donates to Wisconsin area hospitals in need. The staff was amazing, and it was so easy! It only took an hour of my day to help save some lives. I received a thank you, what my blood type is, and the day and hospital my blood went to!
Please consider donating at their next visit to First Lutheran. They will be here Tues, Sept 16, 2-7pm. I already have my appointment, hope to see you there!
