As snow and ice continue across the country, as well as the wildfires in Southern California, HUNDREDS of Red Cross blood drives have been cancelled. So far this is more than 10,000 uncollected blood and platelet donations in January alone. As winter storms continue we can expect more cancellations, and every donation we can collect in our region is critical—to supply our local hospitals and then send lifesaving blood to the other hospitals across the country that need it.All who come to give Jan. 27-Feb. 28 will get a $15 e-gift card via email, to a merchant of their choice.
