About this Event

Create unique, hand-made patterns on fabric in the hands-on block printing workshop. Experiment with selection of self-crafted relief prints and pre-cut laser-etched printing blocks inspired by images and objects from the State Library collection.

In this workshop you will:

  • Experiment with inking, layering, and composition.
  • Print onto fabric to create a custom scarf or a set of printed patches, perfect for mending or personalising your favourite garments.

Our 101 workshops are a great way to gain some new skills and explore creative tools, learning from experienced local creatives in an inclusive space.

Please consult our conditions of entry and Ticketing Terms and Conditions.

Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian.
