Our 7th annual block party will be on Saturday June 22nd. We are looking for volunteers for:
Set up 8:30 – 11 am
The event 11 am – 1:30 pm
Clean up 1:30 – 3 pm
During the event (11 am – 1:30 pm) we need volunteers for the following activities: Children’s games, Face painting, animal balloons, the clothing table, the hygiene supply table & serving food.
We are also looking for people who are willing to make / bring side dishes such as pasta salad, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, beans and rice, potato salad etc. We are also receiving donations to give out such as $50 gift cards to Dollar General, Walmart & Save a lot. Donations of hygiene supplies such as toilet paper, shampoo, shaving cream, razor blades, tooth paste, tooth brushes, deodorant and body wash are also needed. We will also accept donations such as bottled water, cans of soda and bags of chips for the event.
