Block Party: Creative Block Printing for Adults

For Ages 18+ – This class is perfect for beginners as well as experienced carvers who are eager to explore their artistic side and create stunning prints using this traditional technique. Learn how to create your own designs, transfer them onto blocks, and prepare them for printing. Students will develop carving skills with guided practice, learning how to create intricate patterns and textures. We’ll experiment with different materials, layering techniques, and color combinations to create multiple prints. Discover the joy of printing your own T- shirts, note cards, and wrapping paper. You will not be required to bring supplies to the first class meeting. Recommended supply lists will be reviewed and distributed in the first class meeting.
