Join Literature Noir Club, BLK Events LA and Octavia's Bookshelf for a timely book club & community discussion of Parable of the Sower.
The Eaton Fire devastated Octavia’s hometown of Pasadena/Altadena, and many online discussions have circulated about the Earthseed series and how relevant the text is today. We wanted to honor her legacy and create a space for us to dissect this text as a community.
Free with RSVP and a children’s book donation that will be distributed to a local Pasadena/Altadena organization.
