This practice is like going on a sweet yin yoga retreat. You can't give to others what you don't have to give. In this blissful class, you will refill your energetic cup by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting deep rest and relaxation.
We will begin with a yin practice allowing your body to melt into a series of yin postures releasing tension in the connective tissues, leading on to a yoga nidra practice.
Yoga Nidra induces a deep & conscious relaxation, allowing the mind to flow effortlessly between dreaming & wakefulness. Also known as Yogic Sleep, this practice embodies a dance between the subconscious & conscious mind.
Leave feeling, relaxed and refreshed with harmony restored!
⁣A mat, bolster (although you may prefer to bring your own bolster if you have one) and blocks will be provided. A small pillow, your favorite blanket and perhaps an eye pillow are suggested to bring from home as these will provide a deeper relaxation for this practice. ⁣
Students of all backgrounds & physical abilities are welcome, no prior yoga or meditation experience necessary.
