Join us for a hilarious evening of comedy at Liberty Bell Coffee, 5 Hamilton Street, Birkenhead, CH41 6DL. This event promises to be a night filled with joy, humour, and good vibes.Bliss Comedy is hosted by Mary Cross, comedian, radio presenter and podcaster who is looking to create a wonderfully diverse and safe space for everyone to enjoy a night of comedy.
We aim to provide a platform to the rising stars of the UK comedy scene alongside giving opportunities for newer comics to perform. All of our previous events have sold out and we have a regular and devoted fan base who come back time and again.
This month we have we have a brilliantly varied line-up with something for everyone!
Joining us this month are:
Headliner: Lulu Simons
Voted Best Newcomer in the 2025 Women in Comedy Festival and recently selected as one of 6 comedians to be part of the Best in Class Showcase in this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Lulu Simons is a proud Welsh, working class stand-up comedian, writer, and performer. ��Passionate about platforming underrepresented people in comedy Lulu has also taken proactive steps to foster greater diversity by founding the TOKEN Comedy Collective , aimed at supporting and amplifying underrepresented voices on the circuit.��All-in-all, she’s a daft, exciting and ambitious talent.��Canal Street Media, Manchester:

Lulu joined Mary as co-host in our September gig and we loved her so much we asked her back to headline!
AJ Rohan
AJ Rohan burst onto the North West Comedy circuit in 2021 and has been a rising star ever since. AJ is cheeky, and sassy, carrying great confidence throughout his set. AJ navigates you through his life as a British gay man, from unique observations, his relationship with his mother, and his own coming out.
AJ recently won his heat of Hot Water Comedian of The Year and is one to watch on the UK Comedy Circuit.
Rose Gray
Rose Gray is an actor/comedian whose alternative, character-based comedy has made its mark on the Northern circuit and seen her collaborate with some of the UK’s best comedians.
Better known as Brenda, a fearless Girl Guide leader, and one half of the double-act Nose, Rose’s work can also be seen on screen, including Channel
4 Comedy and CBBC.
Simon Kelvick
Simon Kelvick is a self- described Brighton-based buffoon! We loved him so much when he performed at one of the Bliss Comedy open mics we just had to have him on the bill.
Hannah Monsoon
Hannah Monsoon is a comic who jokes about her helicopter mother, dysfunctional family and growing up bisexual in raural cheshire.
Tom McGauley
Lisa Latics
Tom and Lisa are 2 of our newer comedians who made their debut at Hot Water Comedy Club in January. They were so good we wanted to give them
the chance to perform at Bliss Comedy.
Doors 7pm, comedy starts at 7.30pm and all wrapped up for 10pm with a fully licensed bar until 10.30pm.
Age Restrictions: Over 18’s only, R.O.A.R
Venue opens at: 6:45pm
Venue closes at: 10:30pm

Travel & Parking: Liberty Bell Coffee, 5 Hamilton Street, Birkenhead, CH41 6DL This is a coffee shop by day but also has a fully licensed bar with a license until 10.30pm. It is right opposite Hamilton Square station on the Merseyrail Wirral line which is 3 stops from Liverpool Lime Street mainline station. There is free on-street parking around Hamilton Square and there are also some pay and display car parks nearby which should be free after 6pm. There is also a taxi rank right outside the venue.
