As a new school year begins, there's no greater gift we can give our children, students, teachers, school staff, and families than the power of prayer.
Join us for our Blessing of the Backpacks as we come together to pray for God's protection, wisdom, courage, and peace over everyone heading back to school. Whether you're a student, teacher, administrator, homeschool family, or school employee, we would be honored to pray with you.
Bring your backpack and let our church family surround you with encouragement as we dedicate this school year to the Lord.
Everyone is welcome! You do not have to be a member of Friendswood Methodist Church to participate. Invite your friends, neighbors, classmates, coworkers, and anyone you know who could use prayer as they begin a new school year.
Let's fill the Worship Center with backpacks, smiling faces, and hearts united in prayer as we ask God to guide and protect the next generation.
