We will be remembering the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi who deeply loved animals and cared for the earth and all its creatures on September 22nd in Heidel-worship. You are invited to bring your furry or feathered or scaly friends with you to church! Please have appropriate containers or leashes to keep your animals near you and safe. Any who wish will be invited to share how the love of their animal companion has inspired them. If you have a beloved pet who has crossed the rainbow bridge, we also invite you to bring a photograph of your special family member to place on the altar during worship. All of our wnderful animal friends will be prayed for and blessed before we head back out into the world.
