Blessing of the Animals

The annual “Blessing of the Animals” offers individuals with pets and animal lovers of all kinds an opportunity to reflect upon the positive impact animals have on our emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Animal care and service organizations and rescue groups will attend with pets available for adoption and other useful information.
Individuals of ALL faiths are invited to bring their animals to St. James Episcopal Church for the “Blessing of the Animals.”
Note: Not everybody needs to bring an animal. We realize that some animals do not travel or socialize well, some may have died this year, and some we cannot keep. Photos, empty leashes, collars, and memories are full participation.
